Monster Dash 5K - Burnaby
Monster Dash 5K is a Halloween-themed running event at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby, British Columbia on October 31, 2026. The event program includes a 5 km run and a 400 m Mini Monster Dash for children.

Registered 5K participants receive a chip-timed race bib, a custom swag bag, and a finisher medal. Mini Monster Dash participants receive a goodie bag and a finisher medal. Post-race refreshments are provided. There is no race day registration and there are no refunds or transfers.
Age and participation rules specify a minimum age of 11 for the 5K. Participants aged 11 to 13 must be accompanied on the course by a registered adult. Participants aged 14 to 17 may run without an accompanying adult but a parent or legal guardian must sign the event waiver for all participants under 18. The Mini Monster Dash is only for children aged 10 and under and takes place on the Swangard Stadium track.
Terrain includes paved pathways, grass, and loose gravel, with slight inclines and declines and some uneven surfaces. Pets are not permitted inside the stadium; pets on a leash are allowed along the Central Park route. By attending, participants acknowledge possible photography or recording for promotional use.
Race kit pickup is at Fit First Foot Wear / Christine Sinclair Community Centre on Friday, October 30, 2026, during designated pickup hours; participants must present a confirmation number and valid photo ID. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
