About the race
The Big Elf Fun Run is a charity event taking place on Sunday 29 November 2026 at The Forest Centre in Marston Moretaine, Bedfordshire. The event raises funds for Mind BLMK to support mental health and wellbeing services across Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes. One pound from every ticket is donated to The Forest Centre to support its regeneration work. The event is non-competitive and not chip timed.
Participants can run, jog or walk on a mostly flat gravel trail that follows a main cycle and walking route; some sections may be uneven. The event is open to all ages and includes festive elements such as optional Christmas fancy dress, a finishers medal and a mince pie for those completing the main event. Children's activities include the Dasher Dash, a fun 200 m run for preschool and primary aged children with a festive warm up and age-group starts; all children receive a medal. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Practical details include free participant parking at The Forest Centre on a first come first served basis with number plate registration at reception, step free access and accessible toilet facilities, and a cafe, shop and playground on site.
There is no official bag drop; a room is available to leave small bags at the owner s risk. Entries close the Wednesday before the event and early booking discounts apply to the first 40 tickets. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
