The event is organized as smaller, private group waves with a cap per wave; waves are filled on a first come, first served basis and a wait list or virtual option is available when waves sell out. Timing is optional: participants may track time using running apps and submit results via the event form, or ask coordinators to help record times. No timing chips are used. Race bibs are provided on race day.
Swag is mailed to the US address provided at registration. Standard items listed include a running t-shirt, a finisher's towel or giveaway, a finisher's medal, a digital training pack, and an online certificate of completion. A technical running shirt is available as an optional upgrade for an additional fee. Organizers send a final update before the race and note that shirts mailed after late registrations may arrive following the event. Sponsors include GATORADE and other partners.
