The Best Races - San Diego
The Best Races - San Diego is a set of community runs held at Liberty Station on Dewey Road in San Diego, California on March 7, 2026. The event program includes in-person and virtual options and is organised as a series of capped waves for smaller group runs.

The event is presented as a run-or-walk format; all paces and ages are welcome (participants under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian). Timing is optional: participants may track time with personal apps and submit results for online posting. No timing chips are used; coordinators can assist with time tracking. Coordinators remain on site for a limited period after the first wave.
Swag and logistics are handled by mail for U.S. addresses. Race bibs are provided on race day and shirts are shipped to the registration address the week of the race. Standard swag items include a running T-shirt, a finisher's towel or giveaway, a finisher's medal, a digital training pack, online results and a certificate of completion. An optional technical running shirt is available for a small additional fee. A virtual-run option provides a digital training pack and a medal upon submission of results.
