Event Overview
The Oktoberfest Run in San Antonio offers running distances with a festive theme. The in-person event takes place at Lady Bird Johnson Park on Nacogdoches Road. Participants can run or walk.
Race Distances
The event features several distance options:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half-Marathon (13.1 miles)
- Family 1 Mile Fun Run A virtual run option is also available, which can be completed at any time and location.
Event Format
It is described as a smaller, private group run with a cap on the number of participants per wave. There are multiple wave start times. Late runners can join upon arrival, with coordinators staying for three hours after the first wave.
Registration and Swag
Registration includes a running T-shirt that is shipped to a US address, a finisher's medal, and a finisher's towel or giveaway. Technical running shirts are available as an optional upgrade. Race bibs are provided on the day of the event.
Timing and Results
