Run for Chocolate and July 4th Run San Antonio

The Best Races presents two events at Lady Bird Johnson Park in San Antonio on July 4, 2026. Both events offer multiple distance options, a virtual run option, and capped start waves. Participants of all ages may run or walk; minors must be accompanied by a guardian. The events are organized as smaller, private group runs with coordinators on site to provide a low‑stress, supportive setting.

Timing is optional and there are no timing chips; participants may use personal tracking apps or request coordinator assistance for timekeeping. Race bibs are provided on race day and event swag is shipped to the US mailing address provided at registration. Typical swag items include a running shirt, a finisher towel or giveaway, a finisher medal, a digital training pack, online results and a certificate of completion. An optional technical running shirt is available for an additional fee. A family one mile fun run is offered alongside the distance events. The events list sponsors and invite participation in local run clubs; postrace miles logged may support the organizer charity initiative through per mile donations.
