SARR May the 4th Be With You Run
The SARR May the 4th Be With You Run is an annual themed running event held in San Antonio. Organized by the San Antonio RoadRunners, the 2026 edition marks Episode VIII of the series. The event takes place at Comanche Park on Rigsby Avenue and offers multiple distances for different participant groups.
The event features the following race categories:
- 4-Miler: A four-mile running race.
- 2-Miler: A two-mile running race.
- Kids Wookiee Run: A 0.25-mile distance for children.
- Virtual 4-Miler: A remote version of the four-mile race.
- Virtual 2-Miler: A remote version of the two-mile race.
Participants are encouraged to wear costumes during the event. The course accommodates both runners and walkers. On the day of the event, water and post-race refreshments are provided at the finish line area. Participants in all events, including the virtual categories, receive a finisher's medal and an official tech race shirt.
Virtual participants can complete their distance at any location and pace between May 4 and May 31, 2026. These participants are responsible for timing their own runs and can download a finisher's certificate after submitting their results. Packet shipping for virtual runners is available as an optional add-on during registration; otherwise, items must be collected at designated pickup locations.
