Run to Breast Cancer 5K/10K/13.1 Kansas City
This event is scheduled for August 29, 2026, at Mill Creek Park on Broadway Boulevard in Kansas City, Missouri. It offers in-person and virtual participation and includes multiple distance options and a family mile.
The event uses staged start waves that are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Timing is optional: participants may track times with personal apps and submit results for posting, or request coordinator assistance. The event does not use timing chips.
Packet handling and race day logistics are simplified. Swag is shipped directly to the US mailing address provided at registration; race bibs are provided on race day. Shirts are mailed the week of the race and technical running shirts are available as a paid upgrade. Other included items listed by the organizer are a finisher's towel or giveaway, a finisher's medal, a digital training pack, online results, and a certificate of completion.
A virtual run option is available with a digital training pack; virtual participants can complete their distance at a time and place of their choosing and submit results to the organizers to receive event items. The organizers note that fundraising is optional and that they donate one dollar per mile logged after the race to partnered charities.
