Event overview
The Tiblow Trot takes place Saturday, August 29, 2026, in Bonner Springs, Kansas. The event includes multiple distances that start at the intersection of 3rd Street and Oak Street and occurs during the Tiblow Days community festival. This edition marks the 48th running. Funds raised support Bonner Springs High School scholarships, the Rotary Polio Plus Program, and other Rotary causes.

Registration opens January 1, 2026. Listed entry fees are $26 for the 2K and $31 for the 5K and 5-mile events. Participants may change race events, but entry fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable. No event deferrals are available.
Logistics and awards
Packet pickup is scheduled Friday, August 28, at Olde Mill (611 W. 2nd St., Bonner Springs) and there is additional pickup on race morning inside Kinfolk Created (304 Oak Street). Parking is available near the starting line. Pets are not allowed on the racecourse.
All finishers receive a finisher medal. Engraved medals are awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female finishers in each division. Age divisions for the 5K and 5-mile events are listed on the event page. If the overall winner of the 5-mile run sets a new race record, a $225 prize is available; current 5-mile records are male 24:42 and female 28:57. All participants are entered into a drawing for a Running Well Store gift certificate. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
