Head for the Cure 5K - Kansas City (2026)
The 24th Annual Head for the Cure 5K takes place in Overland Park, Kansas on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Corporate Woods Building 40, 9401 Indian Creek Parkway. The event raises funds and awareness for brain tumor research and related programs.
Funds raised will locally benefit The University of Kansas Cancer Center, Saint Luke's, Children's Mercy, Children's Brain Tumor Project, Solace House, Path to Hope, and other national brain cancer programs, education, and initiatives. The community campaign shows $32.21K raised toward a $750,000 goal.
Event features include packet pick up on the day before and on the event day at Corporate Woods, a kids fun run for young children, a brain tumor survivor photo, and community recognitions such as Keeping the Faith and Legacy of Love.
