Memorial Day Run 5K/10K/13.1 DENVER/AURORA
The Best Races organizes an in-person and virtual Memorial Day running event at Piney Creek Hollow Park in Aurora, CO. The event offers three distance options:
- 5K
- 10K
- 13.1 (half marathon)
This is a smaller, wave-based group run with a participant cap per wave. All paces are welcome; participants under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. Timing is optional: participants may self-record times with a personal app or request assistance from on-site coordinators. No timing chips are used.
Race-day logistics include mailed swag for US addresses and race bibs issued on site. Swag items listed include a running T-shirt, finisher medal, and finisher towel or giveaway, plus a digital training pack and an online certificate of completion. Technical running shirts are available as an optional upgrade for an additional fee. Packet pickup is not required because shirts and other swag are shipped to the registrant’s address.
A virtual run option is available with a digital training pack; virtual participants may complete the distance at their chosen time and location. After-race mileage donations apply: one dollar will be donated to partnering charities for each mile logged after the race; fundraising is optional. The event has a no-refund policy.
