Cinco De Mayo Run 5K/10K/13.1 Denver/Aurora
The Best Races organizes an in-person running event at Piney Creek Hollow Park in Aurora, CO. The event offers three distances: a 5K, a 10K and a 13.1-mile half marathon. A virtual entry option is available for participants who prefer to run elsewhere.
The in-person format uses small, capped waves that are allocated on a first come, first served basis. All paces are welcome and participants under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. Timing is optional; there are no timing chips. Participants may track runs with phone apps or other devices and submit results for online posting, or request assistance from on-site coordinators. Race bibs are provided on race day.
Race materials and finish items are shipped to the US mailing address provided at registration. The standard swag package includes a running T-shirt, a finisher medal, a finisher towel or giveaway, and a digital training pack. A technical running shirt upgrade is offered for an additional five dollars. Online results and a certificate of completion are provided. Packet pickup at the venue is not required.
The organizer runs a charity initiative that donates one dollar per mile logged after the event to partner charities. The event follows a no refunds policy. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
