Event
The July 4th Run 5K/10K/13.1 Denver/Aurora takes place on July 4, 2026 at Piney Creek Hollow Park, 6140 South Tower Road, Centennial, CO 80016, U.S.A. The event includes on-site and virtual options and a separate Family 1 Mile Fun Run. It is organized as a smaller, private group run with a cap per wave and waves filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Race details
Timing is optional and no timing chips are used. Participants may track time with their own apps and submit times for posting, or ask coordinators to help record times. Race bibs are provided on race day. Swag is shipped to the registrant’s US mailing address; packet pickup is not required. The swag bag includes a running T-shirt, a finisher's towel or giveaway, a finisher's medal, and a digital training pack. A technical running shirt is available as a $5 upgrade. Shirts are mailed the week of the race; late registrants may receive shirts after the event.
Registration, fees and charity
Registration runs Oct 1 through Jul 4. Fees listed are: 5K $41.89, 10K $47.26, Half-marathon $50.48, Virtual Run $41.89, Family 1 Mile $39.74. Fundraising is optional; the organizer donates $1 for each mile logged after the race to partner charities.
