Run for Breast Cancer - Fort Worth
The Run for Breast Cancer is a community-focused running event held at Trinity Park in Fort Worth, Texas. This event aims to raise awareness and funds for those affected by breast cancer. The race is designed as a small, private group run with a specific participant cap per wave to maintain a supporting environment.
Participants can choose from several distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half-Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 1 Mile Fun Run
The event is open to all ages and paces, and participants may either run or walk the course. There are no timing chips or complex equipment setups; however, timing is optional. Runners can track their own progress using various mobile apps or request assistance from coordinators on-site to record their finish times. Results can be submitted through a specific form to be posted online.
Registration includes a swag bag consisting of a running t-shirt, a finisher's medal, and a towel or other giveaway item. Instead of traditional packet pickup, these items are shipped directly to the address provided during registration. Participants receive their race bibs on the day of the event. A virtual run option is also available for those who prefer to complete their chosen distance at a time and location of their own choosing.
