Course and format
The course is a flat out-and-back route along the Trinity River with wild-flower-lined sections. The start is next to the baseball 4-plex in the Fort Woof parking lot. Runners follow paved trails at the FWMBA trailhead, pass the Gateway Circle and soccer fields, then continue onto the Trinity Trails. The turnaround is located between the Randoll Mill / First Street Pedestrian Bridge and the FWMBA trailhead parking lot. The 5K completes one loop and the 10K completes two loops. Surfaces are mostly concrete and asphalt.
Amenities, awards and charity
The event uses chip timing and provides custom full-color bibs and full-color T-shirts in youth and adult sizes. All finishers receive custom medals. Water is available at the 5K turnaround and Gatorade at the 10K turnaround. Special kid pricing applies for children 9 and under (ages 5-9 receive a shirt; under 5 receive bunny ears).
