MLK Jr. Freedom Run 5K/10K/13.1 ATLANTA : Decatur, GA
This event is an annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day run held at South Peachtree Creek Trail in Decatur, Georgia. It offers in-person distances and a virtual option, and is presented as a smaller, capped group run with wave starts. Waves fill on a first-come, first-serve basis; a wait list and a virtual entry are available if waves are full.
Participants may run or walk; timing is optional and no timing chips are used. Runners can track time with apps and submit results for online posting, or request coordinator assistance for manual timing. Coordinators remain on site for several hours after the first wave.
Swag for registrants includes a running T-shirt (shipped within the United States), a finisher’s towel or giveaway, a finisher’s medal, a digital training pack, and an online certificate of completion. Technical shirt upgrades are offered for an additional fee. Race bibs are provided on race day and packets do not require pickup.
