Team Maggie's Dream 12th Annual 5k/10k
The 12th annual Team Maggie's Dream event takes place in Roswell, Georgia, featuring course routes along the Chattahoochee River. This event supports young adults diagnosed with cancer by providing grants for fertility preservation. The physical race is held at a location near the intersection of Willeo Road and Marietta Highway, utilizing a course certified by USATF.
The course is described as flat and fast, serving as a qualifying event for the AJC Peachtree Road Race. Participants can choose between several participation options:
- Live 5K: A running race held on-site in Roswell.
- Live 10K: A running race held on-site in Roswell.
- Live Stroller Division 5K: A specific category for participants with strollers.
- Virtual 5K: A remote option allowing participation from any location.
- Virtual 10K: A remote option allowing participation from any location.
The event is open to both runners and walkers. Participants who register by August 26, 2026, receive a t-shirt. For the live event, awards are presented to the first, second, and third-place finishers in five-year age increments for both males and females. Additional awards are provided for overall winners, masters, and stroller participants. Children aged seven and under may participate for free, though a small fee applies if they require a race bib.
