Mind Freak Trail Race - Marietta, GA
Mind Freak is a backyard ultra style trail race held at 4331 Burnt Hickory Rd NW in Marietta, GA. The course uses a short natural loop of roughly 1.5 to 2 miles that runners may repeat as many times as they choose. The race format places emphasis on self-management: the event is untimed and participants are expected to track their own distance and time.
The published event distance is 50K, and runners may accumulate that distance or continue beyond it by completing additional loops. The event is run on trails and relies on participants to bring their own food, hydration, and supplies. Sharing of extra food and drink with other runners is encouraged.
