About the race
Mind Freak is a trail race held in Marietta, GA (4331 Burnt Hickory Rd NW). The event is presented in a backyard ultra style on a short trail loop of about 1.5 to 2 mile per lap. Runners may complete the loop as many times as they choose, targeting a total distance of 50K or extending beyond that distance.
The format is untimed; participants are expected to track their own distance and time. The event is self supported, so runners bring their own food, hydration, and supplies. Sharing of extra food and drink with other participants is encouraged.
Facilities are limited, with only a small number of bathrooms on site. Food, aid, and opportunities to socialize with other runners are provided during the event.
