Event Overview
The Juneteenth Day Run takes place at Wiggins Waterfront Park in Camden, New Jersey. It celebrates Juneteenth, focusing on resilience, progress, and community.
Race Distances
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half-Marathon (13.1 miles)
- Family 1 Mile Fun Run
- Virtual Run option
Event Details
This is a smaller, private group run with capped participant waves. All paces and ages are welcome to run or walk, with participants under 18 requiring a guardian. There is no traditional race equipment or setup; coordinators are present to provide support.
Race timing is optional. Participants may track their own time via apps like Strava or RunKeeper and submit results online, or ask coordinators for assistance. No timing chips are used.
Swag is shipped directly to participants' US mailing addresses and includes a running T-shirt, finisher's towel or giveaway, and a finisher's medal. Technical running shirts are available as an optional upgrade. Race bibs are provided on the event day. A digital training pack and online results are also provided.
