14th Annual Penn Alexander School Run for Art & Science 5K and 1 mile Fun Run/Walk
This community running event at Penn Alexander School in Philadelphia offers two distances:
- 5K
- 1 mile
The 5K begins on Locust Street near the school entrance, follows Locust Walk through the Penn campus to Penn Park, and returns to the Locust Street finish line at Penn Alexander School. For the safety of participants, pets and strollers are not permitted on the 5K course.
The 1 mile Fun Run starts and finishes on Locust Street by the PAS playground, proceeds to the compass at 37th and Locust, and returns to the school. Strollers are welcome on the 1 mile course. Pets are not permitted on the 1 mile course.
Registration for each event opens on February 11 and closes on February 18, with a registration fee of $30. The event takes place at Penn Alexander School, 4209 Spruce Street, Philadelphia, PA. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
