Format, logistics and extras

The event is organized as smaller, capped waves that are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants of all paces and ages may take part; those under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. Timing is optional: participants may self-track with apps and submit results, or request assistance from coordinators. No timing chips will be used.

Swag items shipped to the participant address in the US include a running T-shirt, a finisher's towel or giveaway, and a finisher's medal. A digital training pack, online results and a certificate of completion are provided. Technical running shirts are available as a $5 upgrade. Race bibs are provided on race day; shirts are shipped the week of the race. A virtual run option includes a training pack and the ability to submit results to receive a medal. The event notes a charity initiative where each mile logged after the race generates a $1 donation to partner charities.
