The Cardio for Cosmo Memorial event takes place on May 16, 2026 in Burlington, NJ at the Burlington Township Municipal Building, 851 Old York Rd. The event includes these distances:

- 1 Mile
The 5K is described as a hilly and fast run and uses Run Chip timing, HD finish line video, and text message results. The 1 Mile is a flat, untimed walk. Entry fees listed are $35 for the 5K and $25 for the 1 Mile. Registration opens January 1, 2026. Commemorative T-shirts are provided to participants registered by April 6, 2026.
Purpose and logistics
This is a memorial event organized by the Burlington Township Police FOP Lodge #84 to honor a fallen officer and to raise funds for programs that provide suicide prevention and assistance for law enforcement and military personnel. Proceeds also support mental health education programs used in New Jersey and scholarships for Burlington Township High School students planning to enter law enforcement, military service, or mental health professions.
Awards are given to the top three female and male overall finishers and to the top three in age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. Check-in and bib pick up occur on specific dates including day-of pick up and two pre-race pickup evenings at the Municipal Building Rotunda. Waivers must be signed by all participants.
