Cardio for Cosmo Memorial 5K/1Mile : Burlington, NJ
This fourth annual memorial event on May 16, 2026 takes place at the Burlington Township Municipal Building, 851 Old York Rd. It is held in memory of a fallen detective and raises funds for suicide prevention and assistance programs that serve law enforcement and military personnel. The event also supports annual scholarships for Burlington Township High School students interested in law enforcement, military service, or mental health professions.
Two events are offered:
- 5K run
- 1 mile walk
The 5K is described as a hilly and fast course and uses Run Chip timing. Finish line video and text message results are provided within seconds of the run conclusion. The 1 mile walk follows a flat course and is untimed.
Commemorative T shirts will be distributed to participants who are registered by April 6, 2026. Awards are given to the top three overall female and male finishers and to the top three in specified age groups. Overall and age group awards are presented at the conclusion of the race.
Check in and bib pick up are scheduled on the day of the event and on two additional dates at the municipal building rotunda. Waivers must be signed by all participants. Check in and bib pick up times are subject to change. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
