Run to Rebuild is the 16th annual fundraising event on Saturday, May 16, 2026, held at 200 W Northwestern Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19118. The event program includes a timed 5K run and an in-person 2-mile walk along Forbidden Drive in Fairmount Park. Virtual options are offered for both the 5K run and the 2-mile walk. The listed entry price for events is $35; some events show a price increase after April 16, 2026 at 11:59pm EDT.
Purpose and awards
The event raises funds to support housing work in Philadelphia, focused on transforming owner-occupied homes into safer, healthier, and more energy-efficient spaces for owners of historic rowhouses. Since 1988 the organizing group reports it has repaired over 2,468 homes. Medals are awarded to the top two overall finishers and to the top three finishers in each age category listed below regardless of gender:
- Age 1 - 10
- Age 11 - 14
- Age 15 - 19
- Age 20 - 29
- Age 30 - 39
- Age 40 - 49
- Age 50 - 59
- Age 60 - 99
Logistics
