Brad Schoener MusicMan 5K Run & 1 Mile Spirit Walk
The event is a community 5K run and a 1 Mile Spirit Walk held in Drexel Hill at Arlington Cemetery on May 16, 2026. Registration for the live 5K and the 1 Mile Spirit Walk opens on February 14, 2026; registration closes for the 5K on April 30, 2026 and for the 1 Mile Spirit Walk on May 16, 2026. Fees listed are $30.00 for the 5K and $15.00 for the 1 Mile Spirit Walk. Race bib and swag bag pickup begins at 7:30 am under the big tent at Arlington Field.

Proceeds from the 5K support the Brad Schoener Memorial Music Fund and MusicMan Academy programs managed by the Upper Darby Arts & Education Foundation. Fund uses described include a college scholarship for a graduating senior majoring in music education, annual musical summer camps, community music programs for kids and senior citizens, instrument donations, and free music lessons and educational scholarships.
The day includes pre-race festivities with warm ups and an inflatable fun run for school teams, live musical groups along the 5K route, on-site food and refreshments, and a post race beverage option for guests 21 and older. The event gives age group awards and overall winners receive plated harmonicas; finishers receive working mini-harmonica medals. No pets are allowed.
