The Brad Schoener MusicMan 5K Run & 1 Mile Spirit Walk takes place on Saturday, May 16, 2026. The event is held at Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania.

Registration for both events opens on February 14, 2026. Day-of-race registration is available. The event includes a pre-race warm-up session with YMCA trainers and an "Inflate-a-Fun Run" competition for school teams. Live music, including drumlines, bagpipes, brass ensembles, and more, is featured along the 5K route.
Purpose and Impact
The event is a primary fundraiser for the Brad Schoener Memorial Music Fund and its MusicMan Academy programs. Proceeds support musical education in the Upper Darby School District by funding instruments, lessons, and scholarships for students. The fund is supported by the Upper Darby Arts & Education Foundation.
On-Site Information
Bib and swag bag pick-up begins at 7:30 AM at Arlington Field. Free parking is available at Drexel Hill Middle School or the Kindergarten Center. The unique finisher medal for the 5K is a working mini-harmonica. Age group awards are full-size harmonicas, and overall winners receive 14K gold-plated harmonicas.
