Event Overview
The Cinco de Mayo Run offers participants a choice of distances: a 5K, a 10K, a Half-Marathon (13.1 miles), and a Family 1 Mile Fun Run. A virtual run option is also available. The event is held at Piney Creek Hollow Park in Centennial, Colorado. This is described as a smaller, private group run with capped waves.
Participation Details
All paces and ages are welcome, with participants under 18 requiring a guardian. There is no race-day equipment or setup; coordinators are present to provide support. Optional timing is available via personal running apps, with results submitted online. There are no timing chips. The event is designed to be stress-free.
Logistics and Swag
Packet pickup is not required, as race bibs are provided on race day. Participants receive a swag bag shipped to their US mailing address, which includes a running t-shirt (technical shirts are available as an upgrade), a finisher's medal, and a finisher's towel or giveaway. A digital training pack and an online certificate of completion are also provided. For last-minute registrations (within two weeks of the race), shirts may arrive after the event.
Registration and Waves
Registration is open for all distances, with prices listed. Waves are filled on a first-come, first-served basis and close once full. The event features multiple start wave times.
