Unicorn 5k (Denver-East) at Great Lawn Park

The Unicorn 5k (Denver-East) is scheduled for April 26, 2026 at Great Lawn Park in Denver, Colorado. The event includes a main 5k distance and a shorter untimed option. RaceJoy GPS tracking is available for the event.

Untimed half mile saunter

The 5k entrants receive a finisher medal and a race tee shirt. The saunter does not receive a medal. Costumes are encouraged and a costume contest is planned for DIY costume participants. The event will feature a balloon artist creating balloon creations.

The organizer offers referral and group incentives: referrals can return up to twenty dollars toward registration fees for the 5k distance only, and teams of five or more receive five dollars off each registration. The event is listed as an official qualifier for BolderBoulder.

A charity partner, Bethany Foster Services, is associated with the event. Participants may bring in-kind donations to be entered into the race day raffle. The current wish list includes Pull-Ups for boys in toddler sizes, school supplies such as crayons and pencils, and Target gift cards for foster families.
