Waves are used and each wave has a participant cap; waves may close once full. If in-person waves are sold out, a virtual option or wait list is available. Timing is optional and no timing chips are used; participants may track time with apps or request coordinator assistance for manual timing. Race bibs are provided on race day.

Swag and services include a running T-shirt shipped within the US, a finisher's towel or giveaway, a finisher's medal, a digital training pack, and online results with a certificate of completion. Technical running shirts are available as a $5 upgrade. Swag is shipped to the registrant’s address; late registrants may receive shirts after the event. Coordinators remain on site for a limited time after the first wave. The event lists sponsors and notes an optional charity initiative that donates $1 per mile logged after the race.
