Pirate 5K & 10K at Moon Valley Park
The Pirate 5K & 10K is an organized running event held at Moon Valley Park in Phoenix, Arizona. This themed race offers two distinct distances for participants:
- 5K
- 10K
The event features an out-and-back course layout. Each loop of the course is 1.56 miles in total. Participants in the 5K event complete this loop two times, while those in the 10K event complete the loop four times. There is a total course time limit of 2:00 hours for all participants.
Registration must be completed in advance through the online platform, as there is no option for on-site registration on the day of the event. Packet pickup is conducted at the race location, starting 30 minutes before the event begins and concluding 10 minutes prior to the start. Specifically designated parking is available in a lot near the starting line.
Participants are eligible for finisher medals, and the event includes additional activities such as a best costume contest. Awards are also issued based on race performance.
