The run is organized as smaller, capped waves that fill on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants of all paces and ages may take part; minors must be accompanied by a guardian. Waves are coordinated by event staff and timing is optional: there are no timing chips, and runners may track time using running apps and submit results for posting.
Swag is mailed to the address provided at registration within the United States. Included items are a running t-shirt, a finisher's towel or giveaway, a finisher's medal, a digital training pack, online results with a certificate of completion, and an invitation to local running clubs. A technical running shirt is available as an optional upgrade for an additional $5. Race bibs are provided on race day and packet pickup is not required.
