2026 Austin 5K Head for the Cure
The Head for the Cure 5K in Austin takes place on May 3, 2026 at The Domain Amy Donovan Plaza, 3220 Amy Donovan Plaza, Austin, TX 78758. The event is organized as a community run and fundraiser supporting brain tumor research and local care programs.

Packet pickup is available the day before at Dick's Sporting Goods at The Domain; team captains may collect packets for their entire team. Course and parking maps are provided for participants.
Funds raised through this event will locally benefit the Texas Oncology Austin Brain Tumor Center, Path to Hope, and other national brain cancer programs, education, and initiatives. At the time of reporting the event had raised $40,114 toward a $100,000 goal.
Race day programming includes a kids fun run, a community 5K run and walk, a brain tumor survivor photo, and several community recognitions such as Legacy of Love, Healthcare Hero, Keeping the Faith, and Legacy of Hope.
