This is organized as a smaller, private group run with a cap per wave; waves close when they fill and a wait list or virtual option is available if a wave is sold out. All paces and ages are welcome; participants under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. The event supports running or walking and does not require special equipment or course setup.
Timing is optional and there are no timing chips. Participants may track times with personal apps and submit results for posting, or ask coordinators to help keep track. Race bibs are provided on race day.
Registered participants receive mailed swag for U.S. addresses and do not need to pick up packets in person. Typical swag includes a running t-shirt shipped the week of the race, a finisher's towel or giveaway, a finisher's medal, and a digital training pack. A technical shirt upgrade is available for an additional fee. Virtual participants receive a digital training pack and may submit results to receive a medal. The event supports charity initiatives with optional fundraising. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
