2025 Christmas Star Run and Tree Lighting

The 2025 Christmas Star Run and Tree Lighting was an evening event held at Christian City in Union City, Georgia. The program combined a community run with a tree lighting and onsite activities for participants and residents.

More than 100 participants took part in the event. Youth and house parents from the Children’s Village and Thrive programs attended, and many senior residents joined the tree lighting portion. During the gathering attendees were offered hot chocolate and cookies.

Event attractions included photos with Santa, the Chick-fil-A cow, and the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck. Food offerings and treats were provided by the Academic Pizza truck and a s'mores fire pit. Photographs from the event were collected in an event gallery.
