Christmas Star Run and Tree Lighting (December 6, 2025)

The Christmas Star Run and Tree Lighting is an evening holiday event at Christian City that includes a tree lighting and community festivities. The event features a 5K and a 1-mile run/walk, holiday lights, carolers, refreshments, music, food trucks, the Coca-Cola holiday truck, glow wear provided for participants, and photos with Santa. Prizes and awards are given for best holiday costumes and for multiple age groups. The race is a Peachtree Road Race qualifier. Proceeds benefit Christian City’s five Children & Family Programs. In 2024 more than 100 runners participated and the event raised $51,600; the 2025 goals listed are $120,000 and 300 participants.

Location and course
