The Christmas Star Run and Tree Lighting takes place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Christian City campus in Union City, Georgia. The evening combines a timed run and a community tree lighting with carolers, holiday lights, music, food trucks, refreshments, and photos with Santa. Glow wear will be provided and participants are encouraged to wear festive lights or costumes. Prizes are offered for best holiday costumes and awards are given for multiple age groups. The event previously drew more than 100 runners and raised $51,600 in 2024.
