Event overview
The Sleighbells on the Square event is a community road race held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, on the Marietta Square in Marietta, GA. The event is presented by the Cobb County Bar Association and benefits the Cobb County Bar’s Children’s Emergency Fund, a registered 501(c)(3) that provides emergency grants for local households. The 5K is electronically timed, USATF certified, and is an AJC Peachtree Road Race qualifier. The event is held rain or shine and refunds are not offered.

All race registrations include a long sleeve T-shirt. Strollers and dogs are allowed on the course. Medals are awarded for the 5K: top three overall (male and female), top three overall masters, and top three in standard age groups from 10 & under through 75+. A Beat the Bell sprint contest and a school participation contest with monetary prizes are part of the event. Pre-race packet pickup is available the day before at Big Peach Running Co. in Kennesaw; race day pickup is at Marietta Square. Registration deadlines affect guaranteed T-shirt availability.
