Race details and logistics
The 5K is electronically chip-timed, USATF certified, and listed as an AJC Peachtree Road Race qualifier. Registration includes a long sleeve T-shirt; registrants are advised to register by early December to be guaranteed a shirt. The 5K awards custom medals to top finishers overall, top masters, and top finishers in standard age groups from 10 & under through 75+. The event allows strollers and dogs and notes festive holiday attire.
Proceeds benefit the Cobb County Bar Association’s Children’s Emergency Fund, a 501(c)(3) that provides emergency grants to local households. Packet pickup is available before the race at a designated running store and on race day at Marietta Square; T-shirts will not be mailed. The event also features a school participation contest with cash prizes for the top three schools and a referral program offering a refund after five friends register.
