Event details
The Sleighbells on the Square event takes place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Marietta Square and Glover Park in Marietta, GA. It is presented by the Cobb County Bar Association and is the 24th annual running of the event. The 5K is USATF certified and is an AJC Peachtree Road Race qualifier; the 5K is electronically timed. Strollers and dogs are allowed, and festive holiday attire is encouraged. Races start and finish on the Marietta Square.

Registration and logistics
Race registration includes a long sleeve T-shirt. Registrants who register by December 1 are guaranteed a T-shirt. The 5K awards custom medals to top finishers: top 3 male and female overall, top 3 overall masters, and top 3 in each age group from 10 & under through 75+. The virtual 5K can be completed anytime, anywhere.
Proceeds benefit the Cobb County Bar Association Children’s Emergency Fund, a 501(c)(3) that provides emergency grants to Cobb County households for needs such as utility bills, clothing, medicine, and housing. Packet pickup is available the day before at Big Peach Running Co. in Kennesaw and on race day at Marietta Square. The event is held rain or shine and refunds are not offered. A referral program offers a $10 refund after five friends register; a school contest awards $750, $500, and $250 to the top three schools.
