Event overview
The Bay Aquathlon Series - Race 1 is an open water aquathlon event in Swansea Bay organised by Aspire X Events. The series comprises three race dates in 2026: 16 June, 16 July and 27 August. Entrants can enter individual races or a series booking that covers all three dates.
The event program includes registration, a transition area, a mandatory race briefing, an acclimatisation period and an award ceremony.
Distances and entries
The race day offers three distance options:
- 750m open water swim and 5k run
- 400m open water swim and 5k run
- 400m open water swim and 3k run
Series bookings are available for each distance. Listed series price ranges are: Sprint series £102.00 - £108.00, Mini Sprint series £87.00 - £93.00, Super Sprint series £73.00 - £78.00. Series entry status is shown as open.
Location and logistics
Races start on the beach adjacent to Secret's Bar & Kitchen. The Recreation Ground Car Park is a short walk from the start.
