Event Overview
The Bay Aquathlon Series is an open water swim-and-run event series. This is Race 1 of the 2026 series. The event takes place at Swansea Bay. Each of the three races in the series offers three different distances.
Available Distances
- Sprint Distance: A 750m open water swim followed by a 5k run.
- Mini Sprint Distance: A 400m open water swim followed by a 5k run.
- Super Sprint Distance: A 400m open water swim followed by a 3k run.
Relay options are available for each distance. Participants can compete in individual races or book a place in the full series.
General Information
The start and finish are located on the beach next to Secret's Bar & Kitchen. There is parking available at the Recreation Ground Car Park and in the surrounding area, though charges may apply.
Registration for the race is open. Entry fees start from £29.95 for the Super Sprint individual distance. Age restrictions apply: the Sprint and Mini Sprint distances are open to participants aged 15 and over, while the Super Sprint distance is open to those aged 13 and over.
