Swansea Half Marathon
The Swansea Half Marathon takes place in the coastal city of Swansea on 7th June 2026. The event is headline sponsored by Mizuno and is presented as part of a larger running festival that also features the Front Runner 5 Miler and the Freedom Family Fun Run.
The route is described as flat and fast and runs along the coast for around 5 miles with views across Swansea Bay. Runners pass city landmarks including Swansea Arena, Brangwyn Hall, Swansea Castle and Swansea Museums, and the course also passes the seaside village of Mumbles. Roads are fully closed for the race and Brecon Carreg water stations are provided at approximately every 3 miles.
The event holds UKA licence and AIMS certification and is described as wheelchair friendly. Support on the course includes entertainment zones, spectator-friendly sections, trained marshals and pacers across a range of target times. Participants receive a bespoke medal made from 100% recycled zinc. Organisers publish race results and event photos following the race and provide training plans in the lead-up to the event.
