About the race
The Swansea Half Marathon takes place in Swansea, Wales, with the start and finish in the heart of the city. It covers the half marathon distance of 21.1km on a fast, flat coastal route described as iconic and scenic, allowing runners to go from city streets to the sea. The course features fully closed roads, five miles of coastline, spectators, and a supportive atmosphere.
It is wheelchair-friendly, UKA licensed, and AIMS certified, with training plans and pacers across different times. Water stations (Brecon Carreg) appear roughly every three miles.
