The Bay 5K Series

The Bay 5K Series is a Swansea Bay running event that forms part of the Bay Aquathlon. Each race offers two distances: a 5k for more experienced runners and a 3k suitable for beginners or first-timers. The 2026 schedule includes Race 1 on Tuesday 16 June, Race 2 on Thursday 16 July, and Race 3 on Thursday 27 August, with an option to compete in the full series.

The course starts on the beach near Secrets Bar & Kitchen, with parking at the Recreation Ground Car Park and nearby areas. Runners can enter individual races or the full series, and the event culminates in an awards ceremony, with an event pack issued ahead of race night.
