The Amazing Northampton Run
The Amazing Northampton Run takes place in Northampton on 13 September 2026 with the start and finish in Market Square. The event uses a looped road course that passes riverside sections, South Bridge, three parks, the modern university campus and major local sporting grounds including Sixfields Stadium, Franklin's Gardens and the County Ground.
Race categories include:
- Half Marathon : 13.1 miles
- Half Marathon Relay : three person relay covering the same overall distance
- 3 Mile Fun Run : shorter community run
All finishers receive a medal; half marathon finishers also receive a T-shirt. The course is marked with mile markers and supported by pacers offering a range of target finish times. Four aid stations are provided at roughly three mile intervals, and a secure bag drop is available at the start and finish area. There is a race cut off time of three hours.
Registration options include posted race numbers arriving at least one week before race day. Relay team captains have a designated in-person registration session before the event; limited registration will be available on race day.
