Event overview
The Amazing Northampton Run is scheduled for Sunday 13 September 2026 with the start and finish area in Market Square, Northampton NN1 2DP. The event is organised as a town-centre road race that showcases local landmarks and green spaces. The half marathon route passes South Bridge and follows the River Nene past Sixfields Stadium, Franklin's Gardens and The County Ground, continues through three parks and the university campus, then returns to the town centre. All finishers receive a medal; half-marathon finishers also receive a T-shirt. The race has a three-hour cut-off.

Course support and practical information
The course is on closed roads and includes mile markers throughout. Four aid stations are positioned at roughly three-mile intervals. Pacers are provided for a range of finish targets up to three hours. A secure bag drop is available at the start/finish area. Race numbers will be posted at least one week before the event for those who choose that option. Relay team captains register in advance at The Mercure Hotel, Northampton; limited registration is available on the event morning.
