Event overview
The Amazing Northampton Run is a road running event in Northampton on Sunday 13 September 2026. It is based in the town centre, with the start and finish in the Market Square / Abington Street area. The event includes a half marathon, a team relay and a short fun run. All finishers receive a medal; half-marathon finishers also receive a T-shirt. Course and race support
The half-marathon is a closed-road loop that passes riverside sections, several parks, the university campus and town sporting grounds including Sixfields Stadium, Franklin’s Gardens and The County Ground. There are four aid stations positioned at roughly 3-mile intervals and mile markers along the route. A team of pacers will be available for a range of target finish times. A secure bag drop will operate at the start/finish area.

Relay team captain registration is scheduled the day before at The Mercure Hotel in Northampton. Some on-the-day registration is offered.
