Event Overview
The Battlefield Run takes place in Northamptonshire, starting and finishing at the Naseby Village Hall. The event utilizes the local road network, leading participants through the village of Naseby and onto surrounding rural roads. The course follows an anti-clockwise direction, passing through the countryside towards Cottesbrooke before returning to the venue.
Course Details
The terrain consists of rolling hills and includes a specific ascent known as Haselbech hill. A drinks station is situated approximately 200 meters before this climb. The route is fully signed throughout the race. Participation options are as follows:
- 10 km: A single-loop course on local roads.
- Half Marathon: A two-loop version of the run course.
Logistics
Registration is conducted on-site on the day of the event. Participants receive a race pack containing a timing chip and a race number, which must be displayed on the front of their clothing. The event organizers facilitate a mandatory race briefing at the race headquarters marquee 15 minutes before the start to cover last-minute updates and safety information.
Facilities and Awards
Parking is available on the field at the race headquarters at Naseby Village Hall. Results are published online within 24 hours of completion. All finishers receive a commemorative medal.
