Foxton Hound Ultra takes place at Winwick Hall, Winwick, Northants (NN6 7PD) and is organised by Race Harborough. The event uses the Harborough Round long-distance footpath and crosses parts of several long-distance trails, including The Jurassic Way, The Leicestershire Round, The Macmillan Way, The Midshires Way, The Richard the Third Trail and The Uppingham Round. The route passes Houghton on the Hill, West Haddon, Coton, Stoke Albany, Foxton Locks and the Naseby Battle Field, and includes the Kelmarsh Tunnel on the Brampton Valley Way. There is parking at Race HQ.

Race details, support and kit
Both distances are TRA licensed and held under UKA rules. Minimum age for entry is 20 years on race day. The 100k has an overall cut-off of 18 hours with progressive cut-offs from Checkpoint 3; the 50k has a 9-hour finish cut-off and no checkpoint cut-offs. Pacers are permitted on the 100k from Checkpoint 5 (Queens Head, Billesdon - 62.1k / 38.6 miles). Crews and spectators are not permitted in Cottesbrooke village (7.5k) or at the Elkington water station (44.8k on the 50k route).
Race Harborough will provide professional first aid at the start and finish and on-course access. Volunteers will staff 7 checkpoints on the 100k (3 on the 50k). Checkpoint 4 (Hallaton) and Checkpoint 7 (Sibbertoft) on the 100k will offer hot food and drinks; aid stations will also provide a mix of fruit, snacks, Tailwind, water and Coke, with vegetarian and vegan options. GPX files and written route instructions are available. Mandatory kit includes a charged mobile phone, 1 litre water capacity, survival blanket, head torch with spare batteries, waterproof jacket, whistle, long-sleeved base layer or fleece, and a personal cup. Reflective top, hat and gloves are required for the 100k.
Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each race; all finishers receive an event medal. Free digital race photos are provided after the event. The event supports Jubilee Foodbank (Market Harborough) and Weston Favell Centre Foodbank (Northampton). Entry fees are listed at £50 for the 50k and £75 for the 100k, with a £2 discount for club members affiliated to UK Athletics. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
