ATW Bedford Running Festival
The ATW Bedford Running Festival is a weekend running event at Russell Park, The Embankment, Bedford MK40 3RH. The programme combines timed races with a festival village featuring live music, street food, a bar, a funfair and family activities. Festival village entry is free.
Races award a custom-designed medal and race goodies to finishers. Participants who complete two or more distances across the weekend, excluding the Fun Run, receive a double finisher reward; this year double finishers take part in a prize wheel draw. For the Fun Run, children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult with their own ticket, and participants must have paid to receive a medal.
The event works with several charity partners and offers opportunities for runners to secure free entries by fundraising for an official charity. The organiser provides a transfer option to move an entry to any future ATW event when a participant cannot attend; refunds and transfers to another person are not offered. Transfers are allowed up to 48 hours before the original event date.
