ATW Bedford Running Festival
The ATW Bedford Running Festival is a two-day running event at Russell Park, The Embankment, Bedford MK40 3RH on the first weekend of September (Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th, 2026). The festival combines road races with a public festival village offering live music, street food, a fully stocked bar, a funfair, and family activities.
Distances offered across the weekend include:
- Fun Run, children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult with a ticket
- 5K
- Twilight 10K
- Half Marathon
- 20 Mile
Every finisher receives a custom-designed medal and race goodies. Participants who complete two or more distances across the weekend, excluding the Fun Run, receive a special double finisher reward; double finishers will spin a wheel to win a prize.
The event works with multiple charity partners and lists Alzheimer's Research UK as a partner charity. Runners may be able to secure free entry by fundraising through official charity partners. Ticket prices range from £13 to £49 depending on distance and category.
ATW states it does not offer refunds or transfers to another person. Entrants can transfer their entry to a future ATW event, with transfers allowed up to 48 hours before the original event date.
