The 6 Trigs of Trigmas - 24 Hour Ultra Challenge
The event is a 24 hour challenge for walkers and runners with solo entries or teams of three. Participants visit six trig points one at a time and return to the event base after each visit. The route is fully marked and each trig is an out and back from the campsite, so navigation is straightforward.
The event base is Maes Carafanau Llanbenwch, Wrexham Road, Ruthin in the Vale of Clwyd, North East Wales. On site facilities include toilets, showers, changing facilities, bag drop, cafe access and access to vehicles and camping setups. There is an option to book an electric hook up pitch for an additional cost. Parking at the site is included without extra cost.
There is an alternative shorter entry that covers the first four trigs and is listed as 85 km. The listed trig points and their out and back distances from the campsite are:

- Moel Gyw - 15.5 km
- Pincyn Llys - 25 km
- Cyrn y Brain - 24 km
- Moel Famau - 24.5 km
- Coed Nercwys - 25 km
