The 7 Line 7K
The 7 Line 7K is a 7-kilometer road race in Flushing Meadows Corona Park that also features a free kids fun run. The event is presented by Metropolitan Park and takes place at the park with limited on-site parking; the Queens Museum area on Meridian Road is identified for parking and a short walk to Queens Theater.
Participants receive finisher medals and race shirts; the event provides bag check with no responsibility for checked items, free finish-line photos, and live results via text, email, and online. Post-race offerings include catered food from Legacy Catering, a post-race snack, and non-alcoholic beer. Pre- and post-race stretching is provided by Stars Rehab. Personalized bibs are available for entries completed three weeks in advance; in-person bib pickup is available on event day and virtual bibs are shipped.
Awards include $100 to top male and female overall, medals to the top three overall and to the top three in multiple age groups from 15 and under through 70+, and additional prizes for the Mookie Mile contest that rewards the fastest split between mile 1 and mile 2 from a $1,000 prize purse. Virtual participants may upload times and photos beginning on the event start date through the following week. No strollers or dogs are allowed in the race.
