The 7 Line 7K
The 7 Line 7K is a 7K road race held at Flushing Meadows Corona Park and presented by Metropolitan Park. The event includes in-person and virtual participation options; virtual participants can upload times and photos online.
Race policies note that strollers and dogs are not allowed. Parking at the park is very limited and public transportation is recommended. The published parking area references Queens Museum and Meridian Road with a walk to Queens Theater.
Participant amenities listed for the event include finisher medals, race shirts, bag check (organizers do not assume responsibility for checked items), free finish line photos, live/text/email results, and personalized bibs for registrations made three weeks in advance. Pre and post race stretching sessions are provided by a partner rehab team. Post-race food and beverages are provided by event vendors including non alcohol beer and snacks.
Awards include cash and medals: $100 to the top male and female overall, medals for the top three overall male and female finishers, and medals for the top three in multiple age groups from 15 and under through 70 plus. The event also features the Mookie Mile competition, a fastest split between mile 1 and mile 2 contest with a $1,000 prize purse and individual awards for top finishers and best age graded performance.
Bib pickup is available in person beginning 75 minutes before the event start and mailed bibs are shipped for virtual entrants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
