The 7 Line 7K Presented by Metropolitan Park
The 7 Line 7K takes place in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Queens. The event features a scenic course that guides participants around the bases of the former Shea Stadium site. The race is held rain or shine, and the route includes a specific timed segment known as the Mookie Mile between mile blocks one and two.
Participants can choose from the following event distances:
- 7 km Run/Walk
- Kids Fun Run
- 7 km Virtual Run
All registered 7K participants receive a finisher medal and an event shirt. In-person amenities include pre-race and post-race stretching sessions, a bag check service, and various refreshments such as snacks and non-alcoholic beer. Post-race catering provides a selection of food for runners. Pacers are available on-site to assist participants with their timing goals.
The event is open to individuals and teams. Due to course restrictions, strollers and dogs are not permitted in the race. Parking at the venue is limited, and the use of public transportation is encouraged. The event supports the Amazin’ Mets Foundation, which provides services to communities near Citi Field. For those unable to attend in person, a virtual option allows participants to record and upload their times between April 19 and April 26.
