The 7 Line 7K
The 7 Line 7K is a 7 kilometer road race presented by Metropolitan Park and held at Flushing Meadows Corona Park. The event includes an in-person race and a virtual participation option with instructions for uploading times and photos during the posted upload window. Parking at the park is very limited and public transportation is recommended. Strollers and dogs are not permitted in the race.
Race amenities include finisher medals, race shirts, bag check with no responsibility for checked items, personalized bibs for registrations completed three weeks in advance, live results delivered online, text and email options, and free finish line photos. Pre and post race stretch sessions are provided by Northwell Stars Rehab. Post race food and snacks are supplied by Legacy Catering and All Round Foods, and non alcoholic beer is provided by Montauk Brewing Co.
Awards note a monetary prize for top male and female overall finishers and medals for top three male and female overall places as well as top three in multiple age groups ranging from 15 and under through 70 plus. The event features the Mookie Mile prize for the fastest split between mile one and mile two with a specified prize purse and an age graded prize.
Bibs may be picked up in person beginning 75 minutes before the event start and virtual bibs are shipped within the stated mailing window. The event benefits the Amazin Mets Foundation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
