Seaford Wellness Hot Chocolate 5K Run/Walk : 21st Annual
The event is an annual 5K run/walk held in Seaford, New York, with an in-person race that starts and finishes at Seaford High School, 1575 Seamans Neck Road, Seaford, NY 11783, and a virtual 5K option. The program includes multiple entry categories: Adult 5K, Jogging Stroller 5K (jogging strollers must start at the rear of the field; no awards for the stroller category), Junior & High School 5K, and a Virtual Hot Chocolate Run.
On the morning of the event a student jazz band from the Seaford School District performs live. Participants receive a race day shirt. After the course there is hot chocolate and fresh bagels available, followed by an awards ceremony and raffle drawings.
Packet pickup takes place at Seaford High School on the Friday evening before the race and on the Saturday morning of the event. Entry fees vary by category and a virtual registration option is offered.
Proceeds from the event are directed to programs that support health and wellness in the Seaford community.
