The Thames Ring 250 is an iconic 250+ mile race that takes participants on a challenging loop from Goring along the River Thames into London, then up the Grand Union Canal and down the Oxford Canal back to the Thames. First held in 2009, it is known for its difficulty, with a high DNF rate. Runners have 100 hours to complete the course, with checkpoints every 25 miles offering support and rest options.

The event includes tracking, first aid, and optional merchandise, with all finishers receiving a unique medal. The current course record is just under 60 hours. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
