Texan Treble Trot 5K
The Texan Treble Trot 5K is an annual running event held on the Northwest High School campus in Justin, Texas. This second annual race is hosted by the Northwest High School Marching Band, with all proceeds supporting the band program. The event features a single course distance:
- 3.1 Miles (5K)
The race is professionally timed by Chip-2-Chip Race Timing using electronic chips. The course begins near the Northwest High School Band Hall and includes live music performances from various band pods situated throughout the route. Participants can access a hydration station positioned mid-course.
Registered participants receive a custom Texan Treble Trot 5K T-shirt and a finisher medal. While T-shirts are included with registration, sizes are only guaranteed for those who register by April 5th. Post-race refreshments, including snacks and drinks, are provided for participants at the finish line celebration.
The event is open to individuals of all ages and fitness levels. Registration opens in early March with tiered pricing based on the date of entry, and same-day registration is available on the morning of the event.
