Event Overview
The Run to Fund is an annual running event organized by the Coppell ISD Education Foundation. It takes place on May 2, 2026, in Coppell, Texas.
Distances
The event includes several options:
- A timed 5K run.
- An untimed 5K run.
- A 1-mile fun run.
- A 1-mile fun run for children under five years old (free entry, shirt not included).
- A "Sleep In Donation" option, which includes a shirt.
Location and Logistics
The event is held at Andy Brown Park East, located at 260 Parkway Blvd in Coppell. Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet (680 N. Denton Tap Rd, Coppell) on Thursday, April 30, and Friday, May 1, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm each day. All participants must wear an assigned bib number.
Purpose and Impact
Proceeds support the Coppell ISD Education Foundation. The funds are used for classroom grants and innovative learning opportunities for students. For each race entry, $2 is donated to the CISD Physical Education Department at a school of the participant's choice. The foundation has granted over $1.3 million in classroom grants over the past 20 years.
