Terror Trails Ultra, Waxhaw NC
Terror Trails Ultra is a trail running event on October 31, 2026 at Cane Creek Park near 5213 Harkey Road in Waxhaw, NC. The event offers multiple distance options on natural singletrack that combine smooth fast sections with technical rock and root features and creek crossings.
Distances include:
- 4 Miler: one 4ish mile loop with one aid station.
- 8 Miler: one 8ish mile loop with one aid station.
- 25K: one 15.5ish mile loop covering the full park with multiple aid station visits; 8 hour cutoff.
- 50K: two laps of the 25K loop, passing six aid stations plus the start finish area; 10 hour cutoff.
All registered participants receive race entry for any distance, a finisher's medal, and a cookout lunch. Shirt orders are available separately. Aid stations will supply water, sports drink, and snacks; a hydration vest is recommended for runners expected to be on course 90 minutes or longer.
Packet pickup takes place the evening before at Middle James Brewery in Waxhaw. The event lists a registration closing deadline the day before the race.
