Out of the Ashes 5k & Remembrance Walk
Out of the Ashes 5k & Remembrance Walk takes place on October 17, 2026 at East City Church, 6850 Monroe Rd, Charlotte, NC 28212. Entry fee structure includes an early bird rate of $40 through August 7, $45 through October 9 for online registration, and $50 for in person registration at packet pickup and race day. Kids under 10 may participate for free in the 1 mile Remembrance Walk, with an option to purchase a t shirt. The event also supports team participation by allowing registrants to create and lead a team in honor of a child or family.
Proceeds support foundation activities such as care packs for newly bereaved parents, payment of related medical bills, faith based community groups, connection events, and therapist led trainings for partner churches and internal teams.
