Event overview
The Tenacious Ten Hour Endurance Challenge is a 10-hour loop event organised by Limitless Trails on Saturday 9 May 2026. It takes place at Mynydd Troed, Pengenfford Common, near Talgarth, Powys (LD3 0EY). The event is open to solo entrants, pairs and teams of four. Minimum age to enter is 17.
Course and format
The route is a fully marked loop on and around Mynydd Troed. Organisers describe the loop as strenuous and technical, with a steep climb to the summit, false summits, steep technical downhills and some runnable sections on common trails. There are two clip stations on the route (one at the trig point and one at the base); runners use a laminated card to record each completed lap. A strict 10-hour cut-off is applied; any lap not completed before the final horn will not be recorded.
Entries, kit and facilities
Entry fees are listed as £55 (solo), £100 (pair) and £150 (team of 4). Mandatory kit requirements include waterproof jacket and trousers, race vest/pack, capacity to carry water (2 litres), emergency food, map or GPX file, fully charged mobile phone, hat and gloves, appropriate trail footwear, first aid kit, foil blanket, head torch and whistle, and a reusable cup. Facilities at headquarters include a refuel zone, refreshments, toilets, parking (ballot for tickets), camping and a full medical team.
