Event details
The Tenacious Ten Endurance Challenge is a 10-hour loop endurance event on Saturday 9 May 2026 at Mynydd Troed, Pengenfford Common, near Talgarth, Powys (LD3 0EY). The event is open to solo entrants, pairs and teams of four. Minimum age is 17 on the event date. Entry fees listed are: Solo £55, Pairs £100, Team of 4 £150. Entries open 21 May 2025 and close 7 May 2026.
Course and format
The route is a fully marked loop on and around Mynydd Troed. Course descriptions note steep climbs, false summits, technical and steep downhills, runnable sections and open common trails. Organisers will use two clip stations on the route (one at the trig point and one at the base) where participants must clip a laminated card to confirm each completed lap. The first lap is run clockwise; competitors may choose direction on subsequent laps. Team results are a collective count of laps completed. A strict 10-hour cut off is applied; any lap not completed before the final horn will not be recorded.
