Hospice of the Valleys 10k Race and 2k Junior Run
The Hospice of the Valleys is organising a senior 10k race and a junior 2k run on 12th April 2026 at Parc Bryn Bach, Tredegar (NP22 3AY). The event is held with support from Parc Bryn Bach Running Club and is set within the park grounds. Distances offered:

Entries, age groups and event information
The senior race is open to participants aged 17 and over. The junior run is for children aged 4 to 16; children aged 4 to 7 are advised to run with a responsible adult aged 18 or over. During junior registration an adult name is requested for the person who will run with or collect the child at the finish area. One accompanying adult may enter free per child.
Entry pricing for seniors (affiliated / non-affiliated):
- Early Bird (1 Jan - 15 Feb 2026): £12 / £14
- Standard (16 Feb - 5 Apr 2026): £14 / £16
- On the day (12 Apr 2026): £16 / £18
Junior fees:
- Early Bird (1 Jan - 15 Feb 2026): £5
- Standard (16 Feb - 5 Apr 2026): £6
Participants receive kit and refreshments: seniors receive a hospice buff, water and a snack; juniors receive a finisher’s medal, water and a snack. Event T-shirts must be ordered by 18th March 2026. The race is licensed under Welsh Athletics; runners pushing buggies or pushed wheelchairs are not permitted. Fundraising milestones and associated support amounts are listed by the hospice, and fundraisers who raise at least £64.52 are entered into prize draws.
